Privacy Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
Robin Rogue is a game made by Gamic Arts. This policy explains what the game does with your information. The short version: your progress stays on your device, there are no accounts, and the game is free because it shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some information about your device to serve them.
Your progress
Your heroes, unlocks, Glint, Codex, settings and any run in progress are saved in the game's own storage on your device. They are included in your device's normal backups, the same as any other app's data. They are never sent to Gamic Arts. There is no Robin Rogue account, no sign-in and no online leaderboard, and the game plays fully offline.
Deleting the game deletes your progress on that device.
Ads
Robin Rogue shows ads served by Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. Every ad is an optional "rewarded" ad that you choose to watch, for example to revive once in a run or to double a run's Glint. The game never interrupts you with an ad.
To serve and measure ads, and to prevent ad fraud, the AdMob software in the game collects information from your device and sends it to Google. That can include:
- device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow tracking, and an identifier for this app on your device;
- your approximate location, worked out from your IP address;
- which ads were shown and whether you tapped them;
- diagnostic information such as crashes and ad loading performance within the ad software.
Google's use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and in Google's Privacy Policy. Gamic Arts does not receive any of it about you individually. We see only totals, such as how many ads were shown across all players.
Your choices about ads
- Tracking. The first time the game starts, iOS asks whether Robin Rogue may track you across apps and websites. If you say no, the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalised using it. You can change this any time in the Settings app, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
- Consent in the UK, EEA and Switzerland. In regions where it is required, the game shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested, so you can choose whether ads may be personalised. You can change your answer from the game's settings, under Privacy Options.
- Rewarded ads are always optional. The game can be played to the end without watching one.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no email addresses.
- No analytics of our own. The only software in the game that collects anything is Google AdMob, described above.
- No purchases. There is nothing to buy in Robin Rogue.
- No selling of personal information by us. We do not hold any to sell.
Crash reports
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports for Robin Rogue. These contain a technical trace of the failure, the app version and the device model, and nothing that identifies you.
Children
Robin Rogue is not directed at children under 13, and Gamic Arts does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Material changes, such as adding a new service that receives data, will be noted in the game's release notes.
